INTEGRATING SHARED SERVICES, SHARED PRACTICES, SALES AND MARKETING
Bill is one of the most recognized leaders in U.S. healthcare and we’re fortunate to have him shaping the thinking, structure and direction of our Flagship businesses. Most importantly, Bill provides continued thought leadership across Flagship customers and key industry channels.
A trained Longhorn pulmonologist and researcher, Bill spent time at Texas and Scripps prior to his transition to the health plan world. Best known for his nineteen(19) year tenure as chairman and chief executive officer of UnitedHealth Group, he joined the unprofitable regional health plan when it was a mere $400 million and helped build it to $70 billion and one of the most diversified healthcare companies in the world.
His commitment to making the health care system work better is surpassed by his commitment to family and the community. You might find Bill studying one of his numerous rare collections, attending a local theater production or you may catch him on the sideline of his professional soccer team.
As a proven leader in the healthcare industry for over 23 years, Tim now serves as one of Flagship’s partners and leaders. Playing a key role in the overall conceptualization of Flagship, he’s driving the evolution of an entirely new product, marketing and sales approach across healthcare companies, health plans and health systems.
Before bringing his talents to Flagship, Tim served as a senior executive for Fortune 100 companies UnitedHealth Group and Walgreens for 20 years, where he managed and contributed to national sales, sales operations, corporate development, product design, product packaging, market positioning, market messaging, channel conditioning and sales execution.
When he isn’t breaking new ground in the healthcare world, Tim enjoys spending his time with his family supporting Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Community, the Knights of Columbus, several youth non-profits and the American Heart Association. As a diehard alumni of St. John’s University, you’ll often see Tim sporting SJU red and campaigning tirelessly against a rival college he chooses not to acknowledge.
Dan Kueter has a comprehensive healthcare industry background and equally broad set of responsibilities at Flagship. As a partner in Flagship, his contributions span our three business units and stretch Flagship well into the local business and philanthropic communities.
Dan is the acting President and CEO of the University of Iowa Health Alliance and recently co-founded Provicare, a startup specializing in analytics for integrated healthcare delivery systems. Mix in a little J&J, UnitedHealthcare Networks and a successful CEO tenure at UnitedHealthcare of the River Valley, and his path is almost complete.
Want to meet Dan for coffee? He may have to pencil you in between volunteer responsibilities. He is a board member for the College of Public Health at University of Iowa, the John Deere Classic PGA Tournament, the Quad Cities Chapter of the American Red Cross and Community Health Charities of Iowa. His time management skills are impressive! West Point and Harvard must have worked.
